Could this be achieved easier with a model rather than a calc? If you know the emitter angle of the cob/refector combo and you know you grow room dimensions, could you know not draw a model, estimate area of coverage for 1 cob, covert to m2. divide by umol output. Ahhh shit I'm talking bollocks

okay so if you have an grow room area of 2ft x 2.5ft you have a total area of 5sq ft. 1 vero 29 @ 1400mA is approx 50W total power @ ~ 44% eff. so that means you have ~ 22PARW. rule of thumb is to aim for ~ 15 PARW per sq ft. If this is your only light souce in that area it will be woefully...

whats your target drive current dude? It is pricey, but you have headroom, I (and I expect most others will agree with me on this..) expect you will soon be looking to buy more cobs :P I don't think you can run 1 cob of the racd 150 btw, at least 2.

FYI - daisy chaining shit electrical practise . don't do it. IF a component fails and the supply is daisy chained everything on that common fuse must be dead to replace the component. fucking ball ache. trust me. Look in any proper panel and components are individually feed and labelled. AP...

So you've recalled the products with death potential? (not having a go although might sound like it) a) in the UK what you have sold is illegal you would be prosecuted under mis selling of goods acts /electrical item not CE marked etc.. BAD b) someone might die. 50mA is all you need, a 110V...

A bit mesh over the fan would stop anything falling in. OR put a note on saying "if than fan stops, the cobs burn" I think your doing a good job dude, don't pay too much attention, people will always find fault no matter what you do!
