Week15 update: They switched to photo periods due to our later winter and a recent 2 week cold snap.

@TintEastwood SOG were supposed to be 3ft autos, but a late and sustained cold weather confused them into 8ft photos. Check out my grow journal under Grape Yoda.

Week 12 update: 4 more weeks to go, good times ahead!

I first plant 5 seeds in 3" peat pots. Once they sprout and aquire their third set of true leaf's, I transplant to the garden bed. Then when they show their sex, i leave the strongest female.

Yes indeed, it is.

Add some molasses to your water every 3rd day, 2tbs per gallon. The sugars and potassium will help her finish nicely.

Week 10 Update: they have began to flower nicely:

Week 9 update: I only left one female in each grow site and transplanted the reserves to finish off nicely. Beautiful Sea of Green!

Here is one of my reserves, in case I get all males in a site. Might end up making Feminized Beans with this one.

Week 8 Update: Took out several Males yesterday. I'll do a final thinning this coming week and only leave one plant per site. The two sites in the upper left corner are lil monsters.

You can also go Native American style and place a whole Tilapia Fish at the bottom of the hole. The fish will decompose and provide nutrients to the plant.
