So would adding 9ml/5gal of ph down (to get me at 5.8) give my medium way too much phosphourus?

    Promix + high alkalinity water

Yeah some leaves are feeling kinda paper like. I do like the promix but I need to make some changes. Im going to use 100% RO for the next few waterings then switch to 50:50 tap:RO They are 3' plants in 3gal containers. They use up water pretty quick so i feed lightly but often and flush good...

    Promix + high alkalinity water

So i took a media sample from the plant that looked the worst. 7.8 in distilled water. Im pretty sure the bicarbonates in my tap water is responsible for this.. After letting my water sit for 24 hours the ph sits at 8.3. I use alot of phDown (phosphoric acid) to bring it down to 5.8 before...

    Promix + high alkalinity water

Hey guys, I'm having an issue here. Recently i started growing in Promix HP in 3 gal buckets. Things were going great but ive had some challenges lately. Ive had a bit of heat issues and while i was away my wife added another fan to the room which was blowing right on the plants and they were...

I really liked DNA's Cannalope Kush. Is there something similar I should try? I like the sativa buzz and great taste. The CKush seemed to have just enough indica in it to give the buzz the holding power but yet it seemed to be energetic to me. Perfect really, I might try it again actually, only...

Top dressed today with some more nice black yard compost, mixed it in with the EWC from yesterday and watered with 8 gallons of fresh rainwater. Planning to chop the main colas of the xxx plants next weekend (50days) and letting the bottoms go a bit longer as i wait for the trainwreck to...

Organic Growing Made Easy & Fox Farms Ocean Forest!

I guess I'm referring to the usual suspects, root aphids, fungus gnats, spider mites, ect.. I can also confirm that ladybugs, alone, do squat to stop an outbreak.

Pattahabi, what do you use against pests? I've gone the route of using ladybugs but they don't seem to sick around much, and I cant seem to source nematodes.. Ck.

Show me your KC-45 Autoflower Plants and Buds! (KC BRAINS)

I have experience with "semi-autos" but not this particular strain. I've seen flowering delayed in these unique strains by an abundance of nitrogen, but I cannot comment on this specific strain.. I will have to do some research on this strain to make any honest hypothesis. Ck.

Top dressed with about a half inch of ewc, going to water it in tomorrow, also added another 100 or so worms from my vermi bin. After I water in the ewc I am thinking that I will cover with a green mulch consisting of all wild/organic dandilion, nettle, clover, alfalfa, and Canadian Thistle with...

    Unconventional Organics

Has anyone any experience with Canadian Thistle? I have been debating adding it to my botanical topdressing regime. I've read reports of grazing livestock on it and supposedly its equal to or greater than alfalfa for nutritional value. Anyone have knowledge on this? Ck.

    Thank you very mulch!

Hyroot, have you ever thought about trying a barley straw extract? It's commonly used for clearing ponds of organic debris and can be found anywhere that sells pond supplies, I got mine from the local feed store. I believe the product I use is by a company called Microbe-lift.

I made the mistake of leaving my circ fans on high for far too long and some of my leaves are looking a little dry and wind burnt but the buds are looking fine. I will foliar spray with an aloe to try help rehydrate but I think the damage is done. I'm quite glad I have 8 nice clones of that...

Back to civilization after 5 days of backpacking the hills and I'm glad to return to very happy plants. Nicely liberated since switching from hempy buckets.. Gave a light watering today of 3 gallons of water, will water again tomorrow with 6-8 more gallons of guano tea. Buds are very hard and...

Thx for the tip. However, besides the small pest problem I am dealing with, I am pretty happy with what I got going on right now for as much effort as I have put in. Easiest, most stress free way that I've grown indoor and I don't feel like complicating things too much. I am looking to getting a...
