stealth speaker box grow thrift store style ;)

Are you going to put the speakers back in place? If not maybe you could use one of the smaller holes and mount a fan on the inside of the box blowing out and like tape the carbon filter in the gap of the wood thickness if that makes sense, you could even maybe use the duct and have the fan on...

    Bridgelux Vero 29 LED Test

I also heard you can soak them in water for say 12 hours and then go straight into the soil before they crack open, to help the process start, does this sound like a bad idea? I don't know how accurate that is, I would have thought they would open in less then 12 hours... What mix of happy...

need help wiring computer psu to power strip

The switch is for the voltages I would imagine. I don't follow you when you say the other end, as in the other end of the wire? It should just be copper, make sure your hands are clean when twisting the wire together, you should do it like in the tutorial with heat shrink tubing and solder, if...

    Bridgelux Vero 29 LED Test

Meet the lady's, they are a bit shy right now and don't wana leave the shell. I have been thinking about the best way to start them, has anyone tried starting directly into the seeding mix? The people said to be very careful when the little first root comes out and I don't want to hurt them...

Hear Ye- Hear Ye LED Tubes + HH Spray 2.0 + BrandX Seeds

I so wish I was there to watch this take place! Maybe you could see if they offer special high power output drivers that are a lot more efficient then a bunch of little ones, unless you want the individual control per two modules. If you specify the PWM drivers they might be able to be digitally...

Hear Ye- Hear Ye LED Tubes + HH Spray 2.0 + BrandX Seeds

I will be watching this, how does the light spread look over your space, I have a warm and cool sort of in the same arrangement. It looks pretty defused which would be good. The panels you are getting look really cool, I just never thought you could maintain 100l/w with light guide plate.

I realized what I said should have been reversed, 5000K for veg and 2700K for flower, I seem to always get it confused in my head as well. I was quite high when I was writing it and I don't think I can edit it anymore, I guess we all make mistakes

    Bridgelux Vero 29 LED Test

Yes, after much more research I have concluded that plants seem to always use most of the available wave lengths most of the time. There was some good information about HPS lighting and how it became so popular for growing and from what I have read, HPS and LPS bulbs where used in green houses...

First Grow - Stealthy Completely Custom Server Rack with BLINDINGLY High Power LED's

Thanks chibzilla, I want to start maybe 4-8 seeds and get one or two lady's going, the plan for this run was to have both LED's at the same level right up until harvest, just the change in on and off times. I don't know if it is possible but yes I want to start the scrog method when shes big...

    Vipar led question

Hey Reaver, I am very new to growing, the light looks OK to me but some of the specs seem inaccurate. They say it has 90 x 3watt LED chips so pumping them at full power should at the very least draw 300 watts from the wall but its rated for half that? Anyway this could be a good thing in the...

G2-800w PARmaxx parabolic refraction integrated full spectrum LED grow light - 4x4 cr

Do you have a lux meter or an iPhone to roughly test the output of these lights? I can get about 15,000-16,000 lux from a single LED chip I bought from Bridgelux, they where about $50 each plus shipping. That is white light though and you need a decent constant current power source and a large...

    Bridgelux Vero 29 LED Test

So just the latest update, almost ready for the first grow. Worked in the heat-sink ducts and the reflector. So I have this iPhone lux meter, at about 12" from the 5000K LED I can get it up to 15,000-16,000 lux, also the light intensity seems to increase near the walls or edges of the...
