Don't need to. Guns wear out, quickly if not maintained. Many (most?) people don't take care of their shit. Number of guns go down over time.
The government will do what they did with cigarettes - tax the crap out of them. How much is a pack a smokes these days?
If your soil is worth a damn, there is no need to use nutrients in the first month. If your one month old plant's roots do not reach the bottom of a 7gal container, you need to up your game. The watering 'problem' that people run into with large containers is due to inexperience. The only...
Stealthily growing outside is called guerrilla growing. Basically you find a strain of cannabis whose flowering time is short enough to mature in the environment you live in. Plant directly into the soil, or start the plants inside and transplant outside. Growing outside is easier once you get...
Set up a lean-to in some isolated spot, and dry your plants there. People have dried meats and fish for centuries with this method. You should grow guerrilla if you live with your parents.
Don't go straight to a sealed container - you'll get mold 100%.
Hydro will grow faster, not necessarily yield more. Soil is easier, so if you are new go with a soil grow first. There's a lot to learn here, and much of it can't be learned in a book or web site.
On the other hand, if you dive right in to hydro you will learn faster, but you'll get more...
Might not have been him. Put your actor hat on, and talk to him. "Your friend must have flapped his jaws, because I got ripped off. Gonna lay off growing for a few years, I think." I don't think I'd ever feel safe, though. Might have to move - get out of town. Totally sucks.
Last pictures prior to harvest. These shots were taken after one plant was chopped. Brought all five in over the course of 10 days. Pheno 1 was definitely slower, but I think will yield more. I could have left the two under the lamp for another week, but don't want to use the electricity for...
Thanks! Tried some new stuff, some things worked out, others not so much. I've been considering DIY mycorrhizae once spring rolls around. Will do a worm bin, too. Also, going to reuse the soil, so your comment on beneficial microbes fits right in.
DEs don't throw off all that much heat. My peak temp is 72F in my basement room (with one Gavita 1kw). I draw air from the house, which I keep at 68F. House is a split built in the mid 90s. Temps outside have been -10s.
Why's it always something vague, or easily faked? Of all the explanations, the paranormal one requires the most assumptions. But of course it's fun to be scared, so we decide it's the paranormal. At some level, it's self indulgence. Don't people value having their feet planted firmly on the...
