During my initial 1 gallon run, all 7 of them ended up seeded. I've been keeping and storing the seeds from each of those plants and will run them all at some point. Maybe end up with a blood pheno cut from that. Not sure if it was pollen from the male before culling or a nanner throwing it out...

Love my high mowing seeds catalog. Already ordered and received my order (minus the potatoes). Going to start onion seeds in the next day or two!

Unfortunately, nothing crazy. Both phenos that I kept have a little purple ooze when cut, but nothing that screams out at me to classify as a blood pheno.

Looking fine to me. Agreed. Washing machine drip pan and some closet shelving covered my 3x3 tent bottom nicely. Can arrange the plants any which way I need.

Finally took down the A7 at 104 days last night.

It definitely isn't getting enough light and should likely just be trashed. If you are just doing it for the fun of it, by all means keep going. However, if you expect to get anything to smoke out of this or live in a location where it is illegal, that plant isn't worth the risk.

I ran a small pheno hunt with 13 seeds. 11 germinated. Of those, 7 made it out of veg and 5 were female. Those 5 were ran in a 3x3 tent under a very short veg. Ended up with two phenos that I'm happy with. You don't have to run 100s of seeds and take up a ton of space for a successful pheno hunt.

I bought a cheap 2x2 tent off the deals thread to hang and dry in. With that small of a space, the temp and humidity can easily be managed with an exhaust fan and inkbird controller.

They've all shown sex and only 1 male in the batch of 5. Going to throw that fella into a flower tent and collect some pollen.

Bounce back really well. Going to trim and take clones now that they are doing better.

Kind of look seeded. You can take a pair of tweezers and pinch the most swollen one. You'll know pretty quickly if you have seed maturing in there.

From what I've read on how to grade a male: 1. Growth rate and structure 2. Stem rub test (highly subjective based on smell)

I have two female plants of the same strain that express completely different characteristics. A7 has a powerful grape stink and super sticky bud production. The structure of the plant is not desirable. It foxtails reliably late flower (past week 11 from flip) leaving what looked like promising...

How is the project going?

I have been really slacking with mom maintenance. Two A7 and one A12 mom's in 1 gallon fabric pots. The soil is spent. Going to trim them down a bunch. After they recover I will cut the root ball back a couple inches and repot with fresh Stonington.
