    I didn't have the heart to remove any of these 6 Mephistos Autoflowers. Now I have spindly branches. Should I let them just support each other? Should I tie them up? I'm afraid when the buds get heavier they will break the plants.

    After 3 sessions of "ponytailing" and leaf tucking I am seeing results as the side branches come up to meet the main stem top in length. I'll soon ponytail my others. So far for them I've been leaf tucking with some success.

    Good to know. I read somewhere that folding the top up does more than just cut off light. It actually changes the plant's chemical response sending growth stimulus away from the top and to the side branches. Not sure how accurate that is though.

    It slows down the main stock growth which encourages the side branches to grow for a fuller canopy. It's like topping without topping. This is my first try at it. I've noticed the side branches are responding after only 2 days. Here's a pic of my first day...

    I have success without heating the oil and lecithin first. Why heat them first?
