Ive never understood the theory of using 5 or so bags.. surely you need one to strain your first run and get teh crap out and then a fine bag to collect it all I see sets of 5 and 6 bags and never understood why...

yeah I like those bars that flux has. Would be great to have four bars with 3 50 watters on each or a combination similar but dont trust myself with electricity...

After reading Mr Flux's thread and seeing his lighting bars I was curious as to why more of the DIY guys dont run Cobs in this fashion as opposed to the one heat sink one cob one driver approach

i believe CS which is what this stuff is (might be STS) but is best kept in a dark cool place... hence the reason most of the bottle it comes in are dark... just my .2C

just ask them apache yourself... Im sure they will drop the 400...there is a code that is floating around too...

Im aware of running it for short periods after lights out... I just dont see where the disadvantage comes from making your plants "sleep" faster

I caught the convo late and have been wrapped up in 660 and 730nm reading.. what do you see as the advantage to UVB in the final product of weed...

dont take this the wrong way but WTF. are you saying that basil smells due to UVB naturally occurring and taking it away makes it not smell or taste when grown artificially..

where did you get them? I have only found shitty 660 with blue in them as well...

I would avoid that light at all costs.. what is your budget and room size.. people will be able to help you out if you can offer some more information

Im going to ask a completely noob question but for those who build DIY leds... are you always testing your Amps, voltage ETC with a multimeter after assmebly or do you buy a bunch of LED's be it Cobs or Chips and know that if you wire it up correctly with prior calculations to your driver it...

how many 730 and 660 are on that pontoon? I still may go the pontoon and the IG but weighing up all options before pulling the pin.... I think whatever light adding those spectrums is fantastic for final product from what I have seen so far...

I was thinking about it... when you go to their site the 7 inch bars at 730nm are 99 and 12 inch at 119.. Ive been looking at the ind gro quite seriously but the pontoon is a little over priced IMO.. been looking at ways of minimising the cost of the supplemental lighting... adding some 660...

PET is going to love me for this.. you showed me a link to a $200 dollar flood light with 730nm.. BML have to 7 inch bars for $100 which they claim are osram... do you think this would be better due to having them cover more area..IE one at each end of the tent/room Im curious as to just how...
