Try using dyna-gro protekt silicon solution it doesn't raise the E.C much . On the bottle it says 1tsp =.1-.2 E.C of silicate, this is the silicon I'm using and it doesnt seem to raise the E.C much, but I always add first as recommended that could be the issue your having the way your mixing it...
