I just finished up a grow and at the end of flowering some of the lower branches which didn't get enough light couldn't support the weight of the buds so I just tied them to bamboo branches and rode it out the rest of flowering and all was good

I used all CFL for veg then hps for frowering. The biggest issue I realized is that you constantly have to keep moving the cfls to get them close to the plants and in the most optimal position. This time I am going Mh just because it's easier

Final dry count after manicuring is 9 oz 13 grams. I am legally allowed 8 pounds so next time better genetics better environmental better lighting and more lights with scrog. All the popcorn buds is bs and makes trimming plants a Huge PIA.

I don't know anything about autos but all I can say is the more light the better !

Bbcchance is more experienced then me so listen to him haha and I didn't read that You sexed them I always let it go natural until it preflowers and shows sex on its own then flip to 12/12

I am still new to indoor growing myself but that's how I did it and know many others do it the same way.I would go ahead and flip to 12/12 bc you have a 5 foot height restriction plus preflowers are your plants way of saying I am ready.

I have read that the best way to dry is slow so I am leaving them on because I live in Cali where it's dry as hell and drys way to quickly. I dried my first plant and I am curing it and it smells like hay still so I am trying a few different methods. I do appreciate the advice and input.

Well ten hours later lol I am almost done manicuring. I ordered bovida packs to hopefully keep the dank smell and not have it smell like "hay" during curing .I finally harvested all plants and am running out of places to hang it all. Next time I am def gonna go scrog.
