Sending someone to a university to drop out is not fair to them. If they need remedial classes to be ready then they should do it and then enroll. It is much better than failure. Your inability to understand how that crushes a person is exactly what I would expect from you.

No. It used to be in Michigan that workers could qualify for health care at any hourly eligibility set by the employer. Not only that the employer determined how long you must work for them before you were eligible.
