    Fungus gnats in coco

Do NOT use coco with no perlite just in hopes the medium will stay saturated longer. Thats how you get root rot and other issues. Cutting corners is not worth it. The more oxygen the roots get the more they uptake nutrient wise. If you dont want to hand water everyday then buy an irrigation...

    Fungus gnats in coco

Brutal. That's also why I switched from soil to coco. My father in law lives in the basement and he's nasty. So there's always house gnats and they make it up here into my grow. But I have 4 x 14" saucers, 13" elevators and 3gal fabric pots in a 4x4. I always use my shop vac to remove whatever...

Alright guys. I'm not straying from coco but after this crop finishes I did want to try a single plant in a DWC bucket. So for starters I have NO IDEA how to do this. I understand I need an air pump and an air stone and some tubing... but I have NO IDEA HOW TO FEED. What to feed.... when...

    Fungus gnats in coco

I honestly have no clue. This is how my next run will be. 2gal plastic pots. 10" saucer/elevators Running 8-10 autos in a 4x4. Coco is the medium.

    Fungus gnats in coco

Because its almost the same thing as hydroponics. It CAN get dry and you CAN water once a day. But you SHOULD be watering at least 2x a day.

    Fungus gnats in coco

Don't use fabric pots. Otherwise you're using peroxide every week or two to kill larvae and using sticky traps once a week to catch the gnats. Or keep the fab pots clean but thats hard to do when you scrog since you can't turn the pots.

    Fungus gnats in coco

The point of coco is to keep it saturated. You don't want coco to get dry at all.

    Fungus gnats in coco

Mother earth coco/perlite 70/30 mix. These are 75 days from sprout. In ME coco. 3gal fabric pots. Halfway through week two of flower. Started feeding silica when I flipped. Been feeding calmag and nutrients since day 3 from sprout.

    Fungus gnats in coco

If you run coco dont use fabric pots and don't leave any water in the saucer and you won't get gnats. I run coco in 3 gal fab pots and the salt buildup on the outside of the pots breeds gnats lmao

    Stalk rot?

Dude I seriously can't find anything online about this. Like I honestly don't know whats going on with this stalk/stem. I'm just going to hit it with peroxide and I have a bigger dehu on the way. So once the rh drops I think the lack of moisture will help it harden back up.

    Stalk rot?

Yes. 2 8" fans. Theyre a little soft. But the temp difference is 78⁰ F lights on. 68⁰ F lights out. I have a feeling its because my RH is too high. I just bought a better dehu. My rh is around 75% lights off. 63% lights on. I'm thinking about putting peroxide on the stems and then the...

    Feeding advice?

Thats what I figured. Im only feeding like 3ml part 1 2ml part 2 per 1 gallon along with 5ml calmag and 1ml silica per gal. And they seem VERY happy. Final feed will be 5ml part 2 3ml part 3 unless they want more sometime throughout flower. But I'd say for my first coco run I did good so far!

    Feeding advice?

Hello fellas I am about to start week 3 of flower. And I have a question about the last 2 weeks. So should I keep my feed the same until harvest? Or should I slowly start decreasing feed the last two weeks? I am running 2x Pineapple Express. 1x GDP and 1x SSH all photos. 3 are being fed...
