I peel the rockwool off and then plant in to the hydrotron...if I don't the rockwool will start to grow algae.
I use tweezers to remove small pieces until its just roots.
Forgot to add...hand water from the top for a day or 3 and roots should be growing out the bottom in no time.
I'd say 2 main things to start that will be needed...budget? and grow area size?
Beyond that look through the journals section, read a few, and figure out what method you want to grow and go from there.
Oh and Welcome to RIU. P
Reduce the time on the timer for watering...less time is less water soaking in to the hydrotron...may take a few tries/settings to get it right.
Or am I missing something here...
Everywhere you see that white bump starting is roots beginning...so if I remember right a few in the pic look like they are almost starting to turn the bump to string like/root as they grow in length...I'd give them a few more days just to see.
I take clones all the time myself...just to be sure...
My guess is they are getting too wet all the time...turn down the sprayers/air bubbles.
Also make sure no light is getting in the container through lines/lid/sides of water res..etc.
Same reason it takes longer to root in just plain water compared to other methods that hide/shade the root.
Look at the link I posted...PS says "AC in" in the document specs...so guessing it has internal one.
Mind you it also says "135 watt" adapter...so hard to say...lol
OP does it have an external power adapter?
You should be able to buy an external USB to (drive connection) and at least get your files off the drive...think specs said it was a 1TB PCIe SSD.
I was using this link.
Did a quick look at the specs and this unit may not have an external PS/adapter...says AC in in docs...so it may have blown out the internal power supply.
Did you try a power cycle on it?
Disconnect all power and cables...remove battery...hold power for 5 seconds...reassemble just battery and power adapter and try to turn on.
This used to happen with a lot of OEM systems...they'd get stuck in some power issue.
Also try different plug in another...
1 last thing that may be helpful also is mark the res at points of adding a bucket on the side or somewhere/somehow...use a stick even and mark a line each bucket.
Then you'll know how much your res is down and when it can use a full bucket as top up or what ever amount you choose.
Do a manual fill once and then you know how much is in your system then add nutes one at a time and stir res before adding the next nute ( pump in res works well too)...try not to run res to plants until all nutes are added and mixed well.
Then when you top it up you'll have to measure water...
I run my LED about 6 inches from my plants, but mine are ghetto homemade things, but they are about 100 watts a panel on lowest setting. :P
I believe its around 20", but best to get someones opinion that has one.
I'm sure someone will be along soon to chime in...lol
Could be the common cal-mag problem a lot of people have...do you use LED lights too?
I'm no good at nute probs, but heres a chart that might help some.
You should get a good amount of pollen as you would with a male...if whole plant is showing pollen sacs.
It will pollinate all your other flowering plants...pollen can also stay on clothes and hands so wash up if you don't want to pollinate the others.
The last 2 weeks in your schedule there are no nutrients shown...just plain water flush is what I'm assuming...where I only give plain water for the last 3 to 5 days.
