    This makes no sense

Again, not true. Depends on the medium and the particular strain. Nothing to do with whether its an auto or photoperiod. I feed both roughly the same and slowly increase the amount of feed through the grow. At the first sign of leaf tip burn, hold or back off on the food a little. Cheers

No they don't..... That particular plant simply can't handle being overfed. Cheers

Flush and get a ppm meter ! Much more accurate than mm's.. Slowly run 2 gallons of pure water through and another one with nutrients... When I used AN anything over 1000 burnt them.... 900 seemed to be the sweet spot. Cheers

    Watering problems

Try using ProMix HP, it drains well and won't get waterlogged... Do you have holes in the bottom of your cups ? And fill the cup ;) Cheers

Is it possible to grow weed with only 1 fertilizer throughout the grow?

I'm not a believer in "the fade", green to the end is what I strive for ! I feed right to the end.... Bud back building on the Gorilla Punch and Six Shooter auto's..... The Gorilla Punch Auto went 100 days. Dried yield 10.46 oz. Wet trimmed > Wedding Cheesecake Auto went 118 days...

    Let's see your auto grows!

Just finished my first auto run in 5 gallon pails with GroBucket inserts, seeds from Herbies. ProMix HP, Mega Crop one part, 600w MH/HPS in a 42" parabolic reflector. 5' x 5' x 4' high enclosure in a 10' x 10' x 8' high room. Gorilla Punch auto, yield 10.46 oz. Did bud back building on this...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Within an hour or so. The first run I waited until the next day, doesn't seem to matter. For the first two or three weeks I fill the reservoir to half full daily and then at about a month it's top water every third time. Sounds about right.... On my first grow my plants were leaning over...

Second grow with them, first grow was a run of auto's. Six Shooter auto went 118 days from last feeding, chopped a week later ! Yield was 13.86 oz. Not an issue with ProMix HP and Mega Crop one part nutrients ! Cheers

You mean my training aids ? ;) Wood skewers and soft wire to train the branches sideways. When the branches/plant is about 24" wide I usually flip to flower. Also keeps the height down.. Cheers

Thanks ! I agree, when and how much to water/feed is No longer an issue ! Almost empty reservoir, plants are praying. Water from the top and a full reservoir, plants are praying. Every grow is four different strains but my rough calculations show a 25% increase in yields and with the SIP's...

    Massive hard buds, yellow leaves?

I'm not a big believer in "the fade" If a plant is fed properly it can have green leaves right to the end ! This is a Wedding Cheesecake Auto two weeks before chop, yield was 13 oz. Cheers

    Curing & drying

My experience is different, the $20 for five are usually close enough for our purposes.. Sheesh, use two or three and take an average. A close reading is Better than Nothing. EDIT > don't trust those, try something like this. About $14, no excuse ;) I should add, I hang the branches until...

    Thumbnail images loading really slowly

The larger issue here is users uploading pictures directly from their phones, etc. with no consideration of size. A 5 MB or larger image is not going to look any better on a screen that something in the less than 1 MB range @ 1000 to 1200 pixels wide.. Not everyone has blazing fast internet...
