Since the tent has sensors it can be set so there is very little swing in temp/RH. I just want to be clear. Is a swing even necessary?

Right now the tent has about a 9°F change between light on highs and light off lows. RH remains consistent. I can tighten the temp within 5°F but don't know if that's a good or bad change.

The PM threads are freaking me out. Now that I can control my environment is there anything I should/can do to prevent PM?

The seeds are popping nicely and the plants look like they are making a comeback. The plants may have turned the corner. All things considered I'll shitcan the sprouts and keep the plants. Must water later today. I'll aim for a 6.0 PH. ??

At the time all my plants kept seeding and I complained to this guy. So this guy mentioned seedy plants to this other guy who grows but never has seeds in his buds. The grower guy felt mercy for my story and wanted to make sure I had a female so passed on cuttings. I turned the cuttings to...

OK. Cooling is not a problem. Without the heater tent temp will rapidly fall to 65°F or less.

Since this is the case setting the heater sensor to 70°F on / 72°F off during lights off should be fine. 70°F factoring a 1°F sensor lag. Do you concur, Dr?

    Runtz try three

This thread is getting long. Many apologies. At this point one fixture is at 100% and during lights on tent temp range has stabilized between 79°F and 80°F . RH is set to 60% on/65% off 24/7. What is the optimum lights off temp and how will this swing impact humidity?

The guy who gave me the cuts is a good grower but he's not my contact so it was a one-off. Capturing this moment I think everything but PH has been eliminated from the problem column. I don't think the disaster these plants have become results from the seeds. Something else is a...

I got clones from a grower who never has seeds and after I grew the plants I yielded about a pound of seeds, maybe more. I keep pulling from that seed source.

This crop has until Monday to perk. If it's not perked I'll toss it all start with dropping fresh seeds. I don't know why I'm so bad at growing. I feel like a caricature posting on this website.

My plants look very raggedy and I haven't been checking PH.

Team Fox Farm replied with: "Thank you for contacting FoxFarm! I would be happy to help. Yes, we always recommend that your feeding and watering solutions fall into a range of 5.6-6.8 before adding to the soil." Seems clear that I'll need to PH going forward. Anyone got follow-up...

Are your plants set directly on the concrete floor or are a pad of insulation on top of the concrete floor?

I tested PH of the tap water. The Bluelabes after resting in water for a few minutes shows PH 8.0.

The seeds were never "IN". The seeds were "ON". ON the 'fridge for heat cycling from the compressor of the 'fridge. :)

At this point all problems look to be addressed. Humidity and temp is in zone. Brand new soil in brand new pots. 28,000 lux. These plants are better looking than the last batch at this point. An email is in to Fox Farm requesting PH clarifications, PH acknowledged and will be addressed...

Nice. This is my third batch so far this year. Tossed the first two batches and am trying to nurse these back to success with the ROI team.
