    WOW! BAD pH issues!!

Do your instructions have any information about using ro or distilled water the day before testing? My low end blue lab pen instructions include this: Moisture level/raw water If the sample you are wishing to measure is dry, add RO water or distilled water to moisten. Ideally wait 24 hours...

    WOW! BAD pH issues!!

I don't use the method you are using to determine PH. I use a cheap bluelabs soil probe, slurry tests and plant observation. I keep an eye on runoff for color and EC because I re-amend soils and sometime run into a buildup and need to leach. I have definitely run into bags of ffof that have had...

    Lowering Soil Ph

Some growers will say those meters are useless. Some like me find the moisture meter useful. No one that I know of on riu considers the PH readings on those meters useful. Ways to check soil PH. (1) Learn how to do a soil slurry test. (2) Buy a low end $200 soil testing probe. (3) Send in a soil...

    What did you accomplish today?

Thank you for the advice. I'm considering using a step stud to match the threads that are still there and smaller diameter threads going through the manifold. That way if the bolt is not perfectly aligned to the hole it will give me a margin of error to work with. Thanks again.

Found out when cannabis flowers spinach is in veg and when cannabis is in veg spinach flowers or bolts as it is called. Had to chop the spinach, it...

    What did you accomplish today?

I'm not sure of the terminology. Here are some more pics. The 1st of the heads The 1st pic is of the front threads on the heads that are good. The last two pics are of the opposite end where the thread connection is busted in half, in the back. I'm about to take the heads out. I can get better...

    What did you accomplish today?

I started taking apart the engine of a mustang with a 170 ci 6 cylinder and the head has a broken thread connector that connects to the exhaust manifold. It is a 1st generation mustang with a generator, and I'd like to use the original head. Haven't driven the car for 10 years but in the past it...

    Other Plants

Re-vegging 2 cannabis plants. The latest batch of re amended soil seems to be working well for the veggies. Had issues with what I think was a low soil PH with the 1st use of the soil being new bags of ffof. Had what looked like a calcium deficiency or lockout on the cucumber, tomato plants and...
