    Guide me to the Light....

Not me man, I have no experience with Bridgelux strips so I keep my mouth shut about them (nothing against them but whenever I've been in the market, they've been unavailable) I ran l06 h-influx completely open air at 700mAh however.

DIY Strip Build Help... Check me work please?

Bingo! OP, make good use of data sheets and copy/paste part numbers into octopart bc even the damn part numbers resemble one another so much (even between families) that it can make you feel dyslexic when shopping around.

DIY Strip Build Help... Check me work please?

H-influx are the most efficient Samsung strips, yes. They also have an aluminum pcb unlike the epoxy found on the F-series and yes lm301b diodes (which are the most efficient diodes bar none).

    Serious Issues with my Plants

You're missing like 90% of your hydroton in there so I don't see how they'll root properly. In one of those pics it looks like the water level is as high as the hydroton, but it's tough to tell. I think even if you get the roots into the res here, you're going to have problems with light...

DIY Strip Build Help... Check me work please?

XLG-200-24 is what I'm using btw, max output 8.3A. Basically perfect for the OP too and outputs up to 260w if you're feeling saucy.

DIY Strip Build Help... Check me work please?

Hey man, I have the H-Influx L_06's in 3500k (6 of them too, in a 27"x27" tent) - they're very nice strips, great choice. They're rated at 22.4v 1,430mAh nominal however so unless you were planning on wiring in series and parallel, you should opt for the HLG-185H-24. You didn't mention wiring...

Water cooled $5 Samsung strip build

Yeah dude that's what bothers me bc I used to have wide open access to a TIG and a couple of MIG's. Nice work once again - respect.

Water cooled $5 Samsung strip build

Legit @Broke Richard . I wish I could weld - I used to race cars and at the shop where we did all the work, I never got involved in fab outside of the cutting and measuring - I was more the grease monkey type and always helping with installs/take aparts - it's one of my big regrets.

Yeah that was pretty naive of me to just leave it there exposed like that but I think we're good. Pool noodles really are like hydro's swiss army knife aren't they? Haha thanks for the idea man - much prettier than the tin foil I have on it now.

Tips - Germination and seedling phase in rockwool

Oooh you are fragile aren't you? Well I didn't mean to offend you there tulip, I only spelled out the minutiae of my process to be thorough. For many years of popping seeds I didn't actually place them into any kind of container or bag until my cat jumped onto my countertop and ate a seedling...

1st Waterfarm, French Cookies, DIY LED, 2X2ish

Alright I am contending with my first issue right now - gnarly green algae bloom going on. You can see it collecting in my snorkel in my last photo - well yesterday's res change was mostly green in hue. I'm checking my water 2x a day anyway so I know I caught the bloom fast. I also rinsed the...

Tips - Germination and seedling phase in rockwool

See and I choose rockwool bc I find it to be effortless (literally), consistent, and relatively cheap which is essentially the definition of efficient. I'm not invalidating other methods - paper towels, rapid rooters, etc; they're all good - but I can't get down with the idea that rockwool is...

Tips - Germination and seedling phase in rockwool

I see a lot of rockwool hate around here from you @Airwalker16 but I can assuredly say that I've never lost a seed and I've popped every single one in rockwool. I don't follow any crazy guidelines either, I drop a 1.5"x1.5" cube into a bowl of water (tap, not pH'd) for about 30 sec, I take it...

Bold to claim that white LED's emphatically cause foxtailing. So then how do you account for the thousands of grows performed under white LED's with plants experiencing no foxtailing? Or the plethora of people who experienced it under HPS or CMH?

Hlg 550 vs LED strip light 480 w

This already doesn't make sense because PPF isn't a measure of incident light on an object, it is a measure of total output. Dr. Bruce Bugbee can do a better job than me at explaining synergistic effects of a complete lighting spectrum if you care to delve into the subject. And I honestly...

    Samsung F Strip Build

LT-F564B's are F-Series Strips Funny I have an XLG-200-24 rn and it definitely runs hotter than any of the HLG drivers I've used in the past, though like you mentioned, well within range. Still, it kinda bothered me so I keep a small desk fan blowing over it and it brought the temps down a...
