Food coloring does work. But I agree. Its silly. Growing a purple strain is the way to go.

Put some food coloring in your feed water. It'll change the color of your bud. Not sure if its good for you or the plant. I did some experimenting and was able to make some red buds. I'll see if I can find a picture...

The breeders numbers are just a reference point. It seems with today's breeding that 80% of the strains people grow are 58-70 days. I always side on running it longer then shorter. Especially on sativa leaning strains. The breeders numbers always assume a start date from 12/12. Not from sex.

I just got a Vivosun tent for my veg and it actually came with some mylar tape. lol, thought that was kinda funny. I've never had a tent that didn't have pin holes in it. And I can t afford a tent that doesn't. I use a dust shroom for my input. It claims you'll have no cfm lose.

I've been using neem, karanja and canola as part of my preventive maintenance program. Was wondering if anyone has tried using cold pressed hemp oil in place of neem? Wondering if hemp oil has any of the properties and affects of neem, or any of the other popular oils used in horticulture...
