Don't know much about these guys but I love seeing this sort of generosity. Realistically, seeds are pretty cheap to produce. You pay for the time and effort. Giving a few extras basically costs nothing while making the customer extra happy.

A little too vague to make recommendations. Is this indoor or outdoor. If indoor, do you have height constraints. If outdoor, what climate. I would look at some for stable genetics if you're just starting out. Ace would be a good breeder to look at.

Bodhi, Joti, Second Generation, RedEye, Ace, Bomb, Digital, BigWorm, Thug Put, Inhouse are all good in my experience. A lot of these new breeders offer the flavor of the day without being tested and they end up having hermie tendencies so keep that in mind.
