    Mixing soil

Sunshine Mix 4 Advanced only has about 20% coco. The rest looks like 50% Peat and 30% perlite. The only difference between that and the regular Sunshine #4 is the coco is replaced with more peat. It's called soilless because there are no nutrients in it, beyond a basic charge that is supposed...

    Mother earth

I just picked up a bag of this a couple weeks ago, it needs more perlite (my opinion) but so far the plants are liking it as much as the FFOF I used to buy. I also tried their Groundswell soil and I really liked that. Super lush and green in veg.

    Useful Seeds

Here's a shot of Chem D x BOO at day 74. It could have gone a week longer but I had to flip the tent. It's in the jar now and the orange smells are starting to pick up.

Spinosad is your friend. Those are definitely aphids not mites.

    Moving Outdoors to Veg

BTW if your plants are 4' now, you're going to have 10'+ monsters outside so plan ahead. ;)

    Moving Outdoors to Veg

It depends on your situation a little bit. Here's my plan for this year. Right now my plants are about 18"-24" or so above the pot, 1 gal atm. In two weeks I'm going to transplant into their final pots, probably 10 gals, and move them outside. I usually run bigger pots but I'm running...

    Moving Outdoors to Veg

Here's some info: Marijuana Grower's Handbook - Part 3 of 33 - Ed Rosenthal "Growth and Flowering" The cannabis plant regulates its growth and flowering stages by measuring the changes in the number of hours of uniterrupted darkness to determine when to flower. The plant produces a hormone...

Also 14/8 is only 22 hours. Was that a typo?

    Moving Outdoors to Veg

It's not about the daylight it's the dark and 10 hours of darkness will flip a lot of strains.

    Moving Outdoors to Veg

I'm in the same boat as you and I'm aiming to put them out on or around 6/1. Even then I'll probably give them a little supplemental lighting until after the solstice, 6/22 I believe, just to be safe. If you put them out now they will do exactly what you're afraid of. It happened to me the...

What size of pots do YOU use indoors?

True on the outdoors. I'm running them in 15 gallons outside and usually get nice 6-7 foot plants.

What size of pots do YOU use indoors?

I do 3 gallon pots indoors. 4x4 tent with 9 plants, usually topped 1-2 times for 4-8 tops each. Fills in the space nicely with no real training other than the topping.

    MAC1 Cappy's cut

Yes my cut came from a tissue culture lab in San Diego called ZenLabs. I had not heard that before but it does make sense.

    MAC1 Cappy's cut

Me too. I've never heard of tissue culture degrading a clone only removing viruses, pathogens and the like. Again not doubting anybody just curious as I've not heard of this before. I thought tissue culture only helped clean up a sample in a good way.

    MAC1 Cappy's cut

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I've had my doubts about her this whole run tbh. Hopefully it's still a decent smoke, but the veg issues are a bit much. It also clones super slow.

Buds too heavy. Plant almost falls over.

Wait I wanted to be your dad! Glad you got it sorted out. It's a terrible problem to have buds that are just too big and heavy. ;)

What could cause longer flowering periods

I agree with that. I just did my first run with a trellis instead of stakes and I totally regret it. I have 9 different plants all doing 9 different things and I can only reach the ones in front. I have no idea what's going on in that back row as far as herms or whatnot. I'm at over 10 weeks...

    MAC1 Cappy's cut

Yeah I agree on the trichome issue. This is my first time flowering out this cut and I was expecting a lot more frost for sure. I don't think my grow environment could have caused this much difference in trich production. They got a little light stressed at about 6 weeks but that's about it...
