Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

This was all I could find on short notice. $11.99 CAD at Canadian Tire. I just hope that's not an expiry date above the label on the back.

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

Thanks, great pics, I knew they burrowed into buds but damn, now I'm going to have nightmares. I'm going to treat with BT (Bacillus Thuringiensis) first, If that doesn't work, I'll treat with pyrethrin now that I know I'll be washing my buds anyway.

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

Ya you're right, I couldn't read my label and didn't actually read the one on the photo. Says 99% mineral oil, which is a petroleum distillate of some sort (so much for Green Earth). Looking closer at my labels, the pyrethrin is Doktor Doom, and the dude in the video above said it'll work but...

    Stuck in Rock Wool

Oh comon, post a pic please. I have to see it to believe it. The top one I can believe, that bottom one though, really? Bravo @Mak'er Grow your optimism paid off. I'm glad to be wrong.

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

If it weren't for closeup's I'd never spot the eggs. This is my first outdoor. I haven't done any pest prevention to this point besides hosing it off, plucking damaged leaves and keeping a close eye on it. I have at my disposal, pyrethrin 0.2%/ Piperonyl butoxide 1.0% powder, diatomaceous...

#1 That's good, it's a terrible way to die from what I hear. ;) The first question in any thread like this should be, What is your budget?

    Stuck in Rock Wool

If the top one is brown like the bottom one, they're both dead. At this point they should be on the 2nd set of leaves and be unmistakably green. Even if they were alive (which they're not) you wouldn't want use them because they are way behind where a healthy plant would be. Again, I'm sorry.

reflective material for grow room walls

Cheapest solution I've found. $.99 a solar blanket on ebay. 7 feet x 4 feet and really thin but tough, crinkle it all up to diffuse the reflections then wallpaper anything with it. I use a little spray glue but staples through a piece of scrap plastic would be better.

How am I looking for a late late late start? (British Columbia Wetcoast Grow)

It looks nice and healthy however I can't help thinking that plastic is blocking all the precious uv. Perhaps putting it in full sun, trichome production may get a small boost.

    Early Michigan

4 days ago. (not mine, a neighbors, and no I'm not touching it. ) Impressive size but not very frosty. Mine, still a way to go but coming along nicely, hoping for sunshine through Sept and Oct. Very different flowering start times between these two strains. I'd say it was at least 3-4 weeks...

I was looking at branded LED lighting and did some research ended up DIY LED grow light saving $$

Watts in from the wall and PPFD/w out. (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density per Watt). OR for a rough guess, use the data sheet. Real world numbers will be different dependent mostly on how well heat is moved away from its source and the efficiency of the driver. The led's are remarkably...

    What is this?

This would be my guess, but until a real leaf is formed, it's just a guess. In this case, mine turned out to be an elm. I'm not sure which variety, could be invasive siberian or american elm. I also ended up with a grape vine, two oaks and a walnut from the squirrels burying stuff in my garden.

Nutrients line up how does this look

My first thought was, too much Youtube. My second thought, damn I need to start a channel (not growing). In all honesty you are a perfect customer/consumer doing exactly what they want you to do and paying a premium for convenience and effective marketing. From what I've seen all those...
