Replant Those Long Stretchy Stems ( Its Easy )

This. And, take care not to use too big a pot, even your babies need the oxygen that comes into the root zone as the media dries back, so, small pot, careful re-pot into slightly bigger pot and so on. If the water hangs around for more than a day or so - issues :/

    Trichomes & Harvesting

Yes, and some people get good results from this approach, but remember your plant will be using up space and light that another plant coud be using to get started, so nothing comes for free.

Nothing really beats the BTI. Turns out there is a product commercially available in Aus, it's called Vectobac 12AS. I've found some here: https://fernland.com.au/10-litre-vectobac-12-as-biological-larvicide.html 10L is a lot of course, but you can see that the real value is around $35/litre...

Heat Stressed + N Toxicity = Early Harvest?

Where are you getting your guidance for RH at those temps? Have a look at this: https://www.alchimiaweb.com/blogen/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Sin-t%C3%ADtulo-1-910x299.png Higher temp needs higher RH.

Thanks for the link FR. I've found the source of this mixture and, you're right, that shop appears to be re-selling 250ml of a suspension for $40 that costs $350 for 10 litres. And it's still only 11.6% BTI. Since I started buying my nutes as dry salts, I've begun to realise what the mark-ups...

Hi chums. Does anyone know where to get BTI for gnats at a reasonable price in Oz? I've been able to pick it up from time to time on eBay, but it looks like my vendors have gone AWOL. I suspect they were guys who bought a big load from overseas, and sold off what they couldn't use in smaller...

    Yellow curling

Are they cuttings or seedlings? If they are cuttings, the poor ones look like the may have lost their roots. Good luck.

Nitrogen excess, disease, or just time to transplant?

As long as I had the opportunity to check-in and water frequently, I'd be inclined to use more perlite when the plants are small, then less as they got bigger. I hate having young roots sitting in a 'too wet' media between drinks. Good luck.

What is wrong with my plant RUST SPOTS it’s about a week or 2 old

Yep, what MJ said. Also, tiny plants sometimes go better in tiny pots - it gives them a chance to guzzle all the water instead of having it sitting stagnant at the bottom of the pot, where it loses oxygen and generally becomes unattractive to the roots. Yours are not toooo bad, but smaller pots...

    Need help with unknown issue

If that's your first grow, I'd say you're doing pretty good. I don't grow autos now but, when I did, I found they needed way less than the 'recomended amount' of food. Less food often makes for an easier grow as you are not sailing quite so close to the wind. Your plants look quite heavily...

Hi team. Given this shitty weather, has anyone got any cheap and cheerful ideas on how to safely dry about a 1/2 p at a time, without stinking out the whole neighbourhood? I typically have just hung in in my toolshed or laundry but the midday ambient RH was 85% today, so not happening. I just...

Why no conclusive side by side defoliation topics

Moderation. Balance. Observation. Flexibility. Routine. Discipline. These things are useful in many areas of life, especially if you want to improve. The subject of pruning leaves from your cannabis is only a small thing and I'd say that, if you find yourself getting really passionate about it...

    How much A/C?

Thanks for the responses guys - it seems that it's exactly as I suspected, the amount of watts going in has to be matched by the amount of a/c. Stands to reason really. I think I'll have problems with a bigger a/c (noise etc), so I'll have to keep my power usage at its current level. Thanks...

    How much A/C?

I'm running 1,600W home-made cob fixtures and a veg tent with about 400W of Samsung strips, plus the usual fans and pumps etc. I'm assuming an absolute max wattage of 2.4Kw on a 240v system, so about 10A of total draw. all in the same room. If I further assume a completely sealed and insulated...
