Hey guys. I’m pretty much a new grower although messed around with the concept 20sh years ago but for the most part feel like I’m pretty green at this so very open to any guidance.

This may be a dumb question, but would it be beneficial to feed your worms a slow release dry amendment like Gaia Green's bloom and then use said castings topdressing with beneficials or to just top dress with the dry amendments and beneficials?
Thanks greenthumb256. Another question if I may, it’s suggested that the medium ends up being to wet for worms to thrive. Would adding a top layer of hay give them a place to hang out and while munching on the hay they’d be feeding soil?
For those using dYI sips in 30 gallon totes with corrugated drainage pipes covered in vermiculite then filled with supersoil, can I make this notill and just add amendments, or do I have to clean out and reset(because of the vermiculite)?
Oh! I didn’t realize you top dressed. I thought the idea was that you build the soil up so that you only add water through the entire grow. What does your top dressing schedule look like?
I just figured I would be able to use this space. When the plants are chopped, the only growing space needed during the drying would be the 4 in vegging. ♂️
I guess my main question is how to efficiently cycle the plants.
-Should I have a 4x4 veg area with 4 plants, while flowering 4 plants in a 4x12 area?
-how should I deal with exhaust with 2 different rooms?
-my son is a carpenter and said if needed we can build a movable wall between rooms if...
Totally agree with the elbow room so I’m going to have a 5x8 roll up door Centerd in the flowering room. I’ll also have the large sips on casters to be able to move them in and out of the room and work on them in the main garage.
