New HPS setup.

I’ve been using only 100w LED’s to this point, which I will add to my new 400w HPS. Any advice on distance between light and plant or other factors? Will also soon transplant from 3 gal to 15 gal pot. Fim was done yesterday. Bag seed. .

This was day 20. Probably 6 inches, including under the soil, maybe 4 inches above it.

Those look healthy to me, bigger than mine at that mark. As I neared 3 weeks, mine looked like that, same shape and all. Those white widow or northern lights by any chance?

Yeah, trying to get a 150g-1 lb yield, so will need a bigger pot and co2 bags. Appreciate the feedback!

Yes it’s true watts, I never speak in other terms—advertised equivalency about 350. They are about a foot away because they are smaller lights (45, 15, 15, and 25)

First and sole grow. I did, however, plant it from the beginning in a 3 gal pot, which seems oversized at this stage. I hear that has an effect. Will eventually transplant to 15 gal grow bag. (I just often see much larger pictures of day 21 on the internet. Maybe some CFL’s might help at this...

*The LED’s will be supplement for the HPS, of course.

White spots in pic are perlite dust. Leaves seem small though decent; I am awaiting a 600w HPS arrival that I’ll supplement with the 100w of LEDs currently above her. Orange splotch on right leaf occurred after I tore a piece off.

Agreed. I’ll give it another week or so. This pic was about day 16, hopefully it starts packing on some serious size.
