Yes it's something you should let grow , mutations are good. I had a white widow that grew with fused leaves and had no top. Couple days later it grew a branch from the leaf stem. Here's a link to my video of the widow a few days before harvest.

Hi ,, yh that's what it seems to be. I removed it and examined it close and it was the start of a branch. The nanner I thought I saw was the tip of a micro leaf. The trimming you see was from topping , I removed the top a while back and removed some fan leaves in the last week.
