..............shit mon, over 3 weeks without an update.........oooops!!! The 'Lizard' turned out to be a crazy stretcher, easily tripling in size since the flip 3 weeks ago. I'm hoping she's stopped now, cos the light can't go any higher and she's almost touchin it(with no ill effect, so far)...

    Fungus gnats in my soil....

I can't imagine h202 being good for your 'microherd' for the exact reason it's good for getting rid of FGnat. BTi is your best friend here 'I believe', I've done some 'asking around' recently as to if it also harms other 'bennies' in your soil, with no definitive answers, BUT it's the only...

    The Dons' Organic Garden

What do you know/think about BTI Don? I've tried most of the available options you've listed to no avail. If I could buy the nematodes in smaller doses I'd go that route, but my last drench of nems' was costly and didn't work, they need multiple applications IMO. I used to use gnatoff, which is...

The more conventional SIP is performing very well, I've not seen growth this fast since I did DWC. She was getting a bit bushy and showing slight mag def, so I thinned her out and gave her an epsom foliar................. I waited for a couple of days before tying her down, to let her get...

Get some of em' popped, the only thing we know about them is that they seem to germ pretty easily, LOL :-D Hahaha...........the sip/air bed does look invitingly comfortable, shame it's not big enough to lie down on, lmao.:bigjoint: I ended up putting wicks through every drilled hole in the...

Bacillus Thuringiensis added to Soil? Question

I also need to apply BT to my soil, but I'm scared........................am I gonna kill a load of springtails and other 'benny's'? I've got a case of fungus gnat so extreme that the nematodes are too expensive to deal with it. Love to hear your opinionbongsmilie

Organic no till, probiotic, knf, jadam, vermicomposting, soil mixes, sips etc... Q & A

Couple of questions for ya, if ya don't mind Mr 'Root........... a. How do you apply your ferments with the sips? Are you adding them to the res' or top watering them? b. I've got a lacto culture that's been sat in it's brewing vessel for about 4 months(Totally forgot about the fecker)...

    Outdoor fertilizer

Ya just need to mulch with it, it will actually improve soil drainage this way. How can compost cause over-watering? If you've got too much of it in a 'soil mix' it will cause lack of drainage of course, but that's a whole different kettle of fishbongsmilie

    Outdoor fertilizer

Not exactly organic though hey??? I don't personally grow MJ outdoors, but I do grow plenty of other plants and the best thing you can use is plenty of compost IME
