Ya just need to mulch with it, it will actually improve soil drainage this way. How can compost cause over-watering? If you've got too much of it in a 'soil mix' it will cause lack of drainage of course, but that's a whole different kettle of fishbongsmilie

Not exactly organic though hey??? I don't personally grow MJ outdoors, but I do grow plenty of other plants and the best thing you can use is plenty of compost IME
