2nd round: Indoor 2x4, QBs, LOS w/GPS, RQS, Seedsman, and a bonus Outdoor grow!

This thread will show my second indoor and second outdoor grow. Here's my setup: 2x QB288V1 on a c2100 driver 2x4x5 tent AC Infinity Cloudline T6 vented outside w/no filter (just a pre-filter) Small oscillating and non - oscillating fans Right now I have a small variety going. Largest is...

All three have now been harvested. Everything is nearly dry, here are the rough outcomes : Northern Lights : 8+oz wet - 3.1oz now (80% dry?) Bubblegum: 9+oz wet - 3.6oz now (80% dry?) White Widow: 7oz wet 1.75oz dry (totally dry) I hung them to dry, then when the outside gets a little...

    Roast Me

I'm not sure about alfalfa for a cover, but it's probably better than hay. I use alfalfa meal as an organic soil amendment. Yours will break down much more slowly, but that's probably what you are poking for in a mulch. The pipe protector is a fine idea, just bulky. Keep up the good work.

Cool padlocks. What's the suspended pipe for? I see a clover cover, and is that hay?

    Final pot size?

Yes. Seriously though, it depends on a number of factors. Media, genetics, auto or photo, goals, etc. I think you'll be hard pressed to fit 5 flowering plants in a tent that size. Go with 3G or smaller to keep them small.

Thanks for the link. I did a bunch of reading and decided it's of not much concern to me. I did raise my light a little and moved my fans though. The White Widow got the chop tonight! I knew that I wanted to wet trim this one. I'm hanging it whole for now. It's exactly 11 weeks today, and it's...

Thanks! I can't share my hobby with anyone IRL aside from family, so it's nice to be able to show off (and gather advice) here. I've learned so much here! The bubblegum is a pretty great sativa high. It Wil be interesting to compare the first harvest to the second. On another note, I've...

The next generation plants were looking sad tonight. I think they were all dry. Watered them with RO. Sky Dweller clone- Snake Oil from GPS is growing quickly - So we will see if they're happier in the morning. I think I definitely err on the side of under watering instead of over...

    I need help

I think those branches you're seeing are on the next lower node. The field of view is compressed and we are looking almost straight down. Looks like OP topped a very tiny leader on the main cola. I usually wait until it's a bit longer, and leave more of a stub, to avoid damaging the branch...

Outdoor grow - wind concerns. Almost knocked over!

I'm sure they do need water! Just gave everything in the garden a healthy drink. I'm still getting used to the watering schedule outside in those 5g fabric pots. There has been some significant rain lately and the humidity has been all over the place, plus the wind upping transpiration. Here is...

It's hard to tell if you cut into those branch nubs or not. Even if you did, the lower branches will grow instead. Next time cut just a little higher. I like to wait until I can see the branch nubs and they are big enough to cut near them without messing them up.

Looks like a good spot. I don't cut mine down quite that low. I don't see the branches yet, but hopefully they will start growing there in their usual spots.

Might as well pile on in this abortion of a thread that seems to have garnered some attention from many corners of this forum! But not the kind of attention people want. I'm any case, Bhodge92, it looks like you may have topped one of your side branches, maybe not. It's hard to tell at that...

Outdoor grow - wind concerns. Almost knocked over!

Thanks for the response. That's very comforting! I've only had one other outdoor grow and those were kept in a more protected area (with less light). The Cheese looked particularly beat up by the end of the day yesterday. I don't know if the wind has supercropped some or most of the branches...

Solving this issue/ What do you think? (Pictures Included)

I think your temps and RH are in line, excepting the 28 % incident you had. Also your pots only seem to be wet around the plants, indicating that it may not be over watered. A soil test would be ideal given that you've put this soil together. Otherwise, perhaps someone with more experience can...

Solving this issue/ What do you think? (Pictures Included)

Well, in my current grow, I wait until the pot feels light. But I'm using Megacrop and not a living soil. I am actually cooking a LOS now, and I know when I start using it, that keeping the soil moist will be important. So, with that in mind, I unfortunately don't think I'm in a great position...

There is a lot of info here in this site , but it seems that the culture is suffering a bit sometimes. Thankfully, the flip side of the coin reveals some genuinely kind, helpful, funny people. Thanks to those going through life with positivity! Because the other side of the coin is no way to...
