If it is the 'Other Tomato' that you bought, the stuff turns green and thins out/turns your water green when mixing after it goes bad. It should be a nice rich thick blood red and a couple of 'chunks' aren't a bad thing. Did you end up getting that 49$ gallon from ebay?

No it doesn't smell like rotten ass lol, it actually smells pretty sweet. However even under that sweet smell there is a slight pungent pinch of sour milk (the lacto brew most likely).
