    Plants look like azz... help!!

Same as last time.. 70% ffof 30% perlite. Last grow was 50% humidity most of the grow due to low humidity in winter. Here's a pic. Only diff is veg nutes. And added some silica this time around.

So do I flush for a while or dial back ppms to say 200 to 300? Didn't see tip burn so thought I was not over feeding.

yeah, been the case in my last grow... waited a good couple weeks into veg before any feeding and all was green. Ii that case went from solo to 5 gallon though.

72F to 75F. Also, from chart looks uptake for N is between 5.5 and 7.5 so should be ok. Wondering if I should bump up the nutes next watering. Also figured new soil from the 1 to 3 gallon transplant would supply some nutrients if needed.

    Plants look like azz... help!!

Seems to look like a cal mag issue, but have been adding cal mag and ph seems ok. Also, runoff ppms are 1000-1300, However as an experiment I mixed up a gallon of 70% FFOF 30% perlite mix and ran RO water through it and that tested at 1000ppm after straining through a coffee filter.

Temps: 72 to 75F Humidity : 40 to 50 % Lights 400w cob led 30" above canopy. 70% ffof 30% perlite Nutes 400 to 500 ppm 9-3-6 plus 70 to100 ppm or so cal mag. Struggling to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Had same soil same conditions last grow and hadn't almost no yellowing sagging leaves...

Not trying to be argumentative. .. but you quoted something like 30w/sq ft, correct? You've admitted that you don't have any way of telling what ppfd you're getting, and you have no way of measuring lumens so where did the notion that 30w/sq ft would be good for flower come from without some...

identical specs... obviously. it's the "hey guys, i just replaced my 200W samsung 561c quantum panel with a 400W blurple from ebay. now getting 2x wattage/sq ft!" ... fails to realize his actual lumens per watt fell off a cliff .

-boring 'ol 230w 154lm/w led strip build

Watts per sq ft doesnt mean much. Without par measurements I don't understand why people still insist on using watt/sq ft. It's an almost meaningless number at this point. LEDs are anywhere from 75lumens/watt for the cheapo units to over 200+/watt for the upper end samsungs. Too large a range...

My goal is 900 ppfd minimum for flowering. Barely got there with 8 strips depending on height in a 30x24 fake test box. That's around 5000 to 6000 lumens per sq ft. Reflective walls made a HUGE difference.... made the numbers jump something like 30%. I think 48 strips would prolly be overkill...

48 might be overkill in the center... Then again maybe not with open walls. You're going to have to measure with a par sensor. I'm upping my fixtures from 8 to 11 or 12 strips per.. for a total of 33. But I'm going to have 3 reflective screens on 3 out of 4 walls. 154 is pretty good with the...
