Well if the issue was nitrogen deficiency it's taken care of. I was in my LGS talking about pallet pricing for bagged soils and randomly mentioned the nutrient deficiency.
The gave me Sensi Cal Mag Xtra and Bio Balancer (both with some nitrogen level) along with some other random bottled...
It's about as high of a CBD:THC ratio as you can get without moving over to hemp lol. I'm not a fan of it by itself BUT that ratio lends itself great to breeding. A TON of high CBD strains are just a normal strain x cannatonic
I'll definitely be posting about my higher CBD ratio crop (still has THC...more of an old school "full spectrum" type of strain)... once I plant it. Right now I'm watching the seeds I just popped and hunting for the perfect pheno
On a less fun note, seeing some signs of nitrogen deficiency on my strongest plants....
I had never vegged indoors quite this long and I really should have supplemented their feeding some (5 gallons really isn't that much soil for big plants).
Going to mix up a weaker feeding of my veg. nutes...
It's just a cheap little micro computer. It does come with "GPIO" pins so you can directly wire them to lights/fans/etc.
It also is loaded with a linux based OS that is UBER basic. Then you just need to install (or code if none are available) little bits of code to interface via common...
It's that time again people, I got past being burnt out running numbers and I'm back to business planning.
Looking for suggestions for commercial presses. Right now my main options seem to be
Triminator TRP Stack (advertised 1.5 lbs max per pressing)...
Nice catch, I had to go back over the pictures after I read your post to see that one....
That could definitely make a big difference. Supposedly trichome production increases in dry conditions (their production is actually a defense mechanism for the plant so this kinda tracks)....
83F isn't...
And I thought I ended up with too many plants in my tent with 6 lol.... that's feeling a bit more cramped than I would have wanted/I had to flip earlier than I would have wanted.
So at a glance you could do more work on training. Looks like you didn't do LST before they hit the mesh? Either way... you can totally try cutting just the top buds and letting the rest mature, what will it hurt?
I should have edited out the section where the camera falls but it made me laugh so I left it in.... the camera falling off its mount took ~6 hours in real time.
So like @spliffendz said, the real fix is not having a "bottom half" and let your plants put their effort into just the buds that will fully develop....
I've had it recommended to me multiple times with people claiming good results. Normally the recommendation seems to be an extra week or two to fully ripen the bottom but I haven't tried it personally (mostly time/lazy issue)
Gotcha so you need to crank out a good amount of product in as little space as possible.... (my grow this time is for the Mars Hydro Cup entry so I wanted it nice and pretty).
GOOD LUCK!!!
Thanks for the solid advice! I only NEED one to live so I don't lose the genetics so I took 4. That's cool about new growth coming out of the buds, makes sense but I guess I never thought it through.
I was regretting not grabbing some clones off my two strongest Lilac Diesel RBX2 girls before flowering so I figured it would be a good chance to finally try monster cropping.
Went ahead and took two clones from each of my two strongest... if even one survives it will be worth it.
Didn't do...
I rock two trellises in my tent but I do 12-14" between instead of 2... but I only do 4-6 plants in a 4x4 not 12 and I focus on keeping the canopy depth about the max that my LED can handle.
Lollipopped mainline this time, last run was ScrOG
Just got my confirmation..... always happy to grow free good genetics and brag about it after :-)
Doing the Sherbert Fem...pretty stoked, GSC and Durban's Poison are two of my favorite strains!!!
...and a free t-shirt? Oh yea!!!
