    Roseman's Closet-Grow Tutorial

Thanks! I of course didn't mean for that comment to go to you - by all means, you do what you do best, I was merely sharig an idea and some folks may have that in their house already! Sooner or later I will have to go and put the Bubblehead logo in my sig, as I will "be worthy" enough...

    Roseman's Closet-Grow Tutorial

Another good tip while we're talking about reflective walls, is to try some of the "drawer liner" stuff. It usually is already sticky on one side, a lot less inconspicuous than mylar, does not create hotspots (no crinkling) just in case, and it is flat white. I use it in my micro box (20x36x25)...

Can I chop off over a foot from the top?

Looks good, they will likely get repaired soon but in the mean time the lower and main stalk will be growing mostly. The reason I always say to bend them vs. top them so much is because if you top them you lose that top. No question about it. If you bend/break them, you MAY lose the top (likely...

    Cold Air Ventilation

F the lights. If they aren't popping as is, don't bother cooling them. COOL YOUR PLANTS INSTEAD!! Cold air across Hot lights makes HOT AIR. Or at least WARM air. Put the Cold Air at the bottom by the Roots and let it slowly flow up to the rest of the plant and THEN up to the lights and get...

Can I chop off over a foot from the top?

Bend the stalk over in half. Squeeze/pinch it approx. where you would want to cut it, that way it will bend easily. Trust me, this won't kill the plant, but it will obviously stress it. You don't want to lose the top esp. if the bottom is really small to begin with. One of the best growers on...

Just changed res water, plants drooping.

Did you pH the water AFTER (also ideally before) adding the nutes into that fresh new water? If not, you should pull the water and pH it to ~6.0. You could try to do it IN the res, but I've heard that is not a good idea as the pH solutions can't mix/dissolve quick enough and could harm the...

Is it normal to have to adjust pH every couple hours?

I heard you need to pre-soak/ph the Hydroton and rockwool, rinsing is not sufficient. Don't ever squeeze the rockwoold either of course! :)

    A lil help at week 6-7 flowering....(PICS)

Check your light timers. One time mine got screwed up back to 18/6 from 12/12 after 5 weeks of flowering!! WHOOPS!! Not a smooth move by any means, but luckily I was able to recover from it once I noticed. :)

    Roseman's Closet-Grow Tutorial

OH man, I'm so glad Roseman is going through this like this (journal style) just slightly a week or two before I do the same thing. LOTS TO BE LEARNED HERE!!! Like the bit on the bugs coming in from stuff in the garage - GREAT ADVICE - HAD NOT EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT THAT! :)

    Are these meters any good?

Sweet, good news, thanks guys. The pH is just because I thought it would be helpful to leave it in there constantly and watch the periodic change over minutes vs. using up lots test strips, etc.. I have pH strips and a pH test kit, plus my GH ph control kit also will have more pH test solution...

    Are these meters any good?

Believe it or not, I found little to nothing using Search so I'm making a new post. There's a lot of comments on this forum about GETTING a meter, but few about what kinds. So I'm trying to figure out if the ones I have here will suffice or if I need more or different meters?!? :weed...
