Might want to look into VPD vapor pressure deficit it is a guide for what RH to have at different stages of growth and temperature. Here is a good write up about it http://www.just4growers.com/stream/temperature-humidity-and-c02/vapor-pressure-deficit-the-hidden-force-on-your-plants.aspx...
Going to be on the hot side, I would do 1 cup compost 1 cup casings and 5 tablespoons of molasses. Aerate for at least 24 hours , 36 hours would be better. If the plants are small might even go 1/2 cup compost.
It does 420 watts no lie with the far red turned on. How it started out was I wanted to drop one vero 18 directly over the center of each square foot. But like you have found out heatsinks start adding up pretty quick. That didnt work out though since a 4 inch wide strip cant cool down 40 watts...
I went with this for my grow room but still not cheap as I spent quite a bit on metal for this build. Still needs a fan on it but it doesnt take much to cool it down. If it gets over 60c it will shut off with the addition of thermistors. The cobs i use are rated to 105C but fingers are not, so...
Fluence uses Osram diodes since Osram owns Fluence. https://fluence.science/fluence-bioengineering-acquired-by-osram/ If you are talking about the HLG 550 it uses samsung diodes.
No Ph reading ? Without one kinda just guessing but I would say with no oystershell to buffer the PH you could very well have low PH causing calcium and mag. to be unavailable . But dont guess you have a water PH meter pen I am guessing if you used bottled nutes, so do a slurry test to find out...
Not going to help if you are locked out due to low PH, what is the PH of the medium ? If PH is low I would go with something like Oystershell flour to bring up the PH and add calcium. IF PH is good you could add gypsum which will add calcium and not effect PH much. Magnesium is easy to fix with...
Here is a link to it. https://fluence.science/store/spydr-series/spydrx-plus/ 1030 ppfd @ 6 inches above the canopy would be more then enough light for a 4x4. But yeah they make quality lights but I don't know if given the choices I would more then likely go with the latest HLG even though it...
You dont have to spend that much on a fan I got one like this 5 years ago still going strong https://www.amazon.com/VIVOSUN-Inline-Booster-Noise-Grounded/dp/B01C82SZRM/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=6%22+inline+fan&qid=1560404265&s=gateway&sr=8-5 and then wire it up to a quality speed controller...
If you have horsetails growing nearby also known as shave grass by you it is very good at keeping PM under control and completely free .You can also buy dry online by the pound. Just put some in a bucket and add water over the top let it sit in the shade for 2 weeks. Then mix @ a 1 to 9 ratio...
You could still do that with one input side meter and a switch rather then two output meters. Would be a bit cheaper you can get a switch for 2 or 3 dollars. But just add the switch to one driver so you can turn it off. Then you just switch off the one driver while adjusting the other. Say you...
Well most peoples goal would be to see the driver is putting out the right wattage so that meter would tell you that. To answer you're question if you want the output side of the drivers wattage then you would have to factor in efficiency. The kilo-watt hours are going to be more accurate...
Bio warfare , use predator nematodes they crawl into insect larva and start throwing up bacteria that slow kills them over the course of about 3 days. But I don't know if those nutes you're using would kill them. If you were organic the nematodes would for sure live.
.
To measure current with a multi meter you have to run one of the driver output leads threw the meter so not as easy as measuring voltage. Here is a video explaining how to measure amps
A lot of hybrids are sterile so the seeds wont germinate so I would'nt count on them germinating. Organic seeds will almost always germinate so that is the reason I said organic, you just have a better chance of success with organic seeds.
Test report says they get between 102% to 108% for a maximum output current for that driver. So looks like they will go 216 watts on the output side, factor in the efficiency of the driver which is 94% so that about 12 watts and you have a max of about 228 watts for that driver on the input or...
