Ya but you are still dealing with potassium, I’m thinking one would have to drop potassium out of the base nutrient to use so much ph up to level it out. There is sodium bicarbonate also but now you are just replacing with salt and that would also stress plants.

Was running Cogos original simple base A&B but they claim it has no buffers. It would drop PH to 3.0 whem mixed and required allot to bring it up.

Little video update and a couple pics from today, had a bad potassium toxicity that took these plants from happy to sad real quick. The nutrients that I was using where VERY acidic and forceing me to hammer it with ph up to get ph stable, this in turn, because ph up is potassium bicarbonate, I’m...

Well got to the bottom of my underwatering situation, the pump is just not enough to feed half (16) the room.... they all had flow just not nearly enough. That explains why increasing the duration helped for a while :wall::wall::wall:.... cut the manifold linking the two sides together, capped...

Right now about 35 days since pulling them out the dome. No, this is top feed. They water from the top through the blue rings and it flows straight through the pot. The trays are only there to collect the runoff and return it to the res. If anything it is more NFT than anything. Very nice, ya...

I get the mother earths size #4, it’s pretty good stuff, worst thing about it is the dust, have to soak and strain it or that dust turns into mud and will clog my rings quick.

Man that would be great. Really liking the grow stone but it’s very expensive and does break down given time. Was going to go with under current so all your waste is just water (which I use to water veggie garden) but it would take 500+ gallons lol.

    Cold$moke's Frost heave

No I get it from local hydro shop, takes about 9, 4 cuft bags, costs roughly 350 a run. I might go back to hydroton or grow stone but hydroton sucks to Clean and grow stone thinks there product is made of gold and platinum lol.
