Here is the full image of the lathe and one of my projects from school. They're essentially very small jack stands.

I'm trying to get a Smithy Granite for my home. The machine maintenance tech for my school compared it to a Bridgeport for milling capacity, thats plenty for my home projects.

I call that "The Queen" it's my favorite lathe in the school shop. It's one of two Monarch lathes, that is the shorter one. it was last rebuilt in 1959 when my dad was 2 months old and it still holds .001" accuracy without a problem. The only drawback is that they didn't mount a DRO on it.

    My favorite brownie recipe

I had previously been using the KitchenAid recipe which is fairly similar but melting milk chocolate instead of cocoa powder and milk. I would use Ghirardelli chocolate bars in the recipe and always good butter. The only other thing I slightly changed from the recipe was that I used a Pyrex dish...

The plants in the aquaponics are looking a bit better but still showing the signs of the root problems. In the meantime I decided to play with my USB "microscope" that was like $35 on Amazon and take some pictures of the dried Silver AK. I have really enjoyed smoking this, it is a bit heavier...

    My favorite brownie recipe

Oh, since no one has reviewed this brownie recipe, I used it. I made both THC infused and normal brownies. I did use Land-O-Lakes European Style Super Premium butter and Scharffen Berger cocoa powder which are the priciest variants at the local QFC so that may have had something to do with it...

    My favorite brownie recipe

I wonder how to prevent that...I have been thinking perhaps cooking at a lower temp. It sure does make packaging them individually for maximum freshness a lot easier IMO.

Here are some pictures of the plants 24 hours-ish later. The Blueberry is looking better with less curl to its leaves so that make me happy. The Durban Poison is looking pretty good considering the rough start to life it has had so far, which is really exciting to me because I have never tried...

Thanks! I'm really hoping that all six pull out of it. I went ahead and added another half teaspoon to each sphagnum moss tonight. I could dump all 4 oz. of the Superthrive directly into the tank and it would be the recommended dosage, so I don't think I can add too much. It has fertilizer...

I opened the tent today and the Blueberry plant is visibly less curled with the leaves extending much farther outward! It's a small sign, but it is a positive sign and I'm really happy to see a positive sign! Sugar Plum (I'm keeping the same order) Green Crack Durban Poison Purple Mayhem...

I decided to change out the sphagnum moss because it hasn't been done and it should help bring the PH down a bit. I also cleaned out the bell siphon and it was really nasty. It definitely wasn't flooding and draining the way it is supposed to so that could have been part of the problem. There...

The nitrogen is in the water, I'm getting about 20ppm for the system. That has seen other plants thrive. Although I don't know how to find out without digging down to the roots I'm guessing that it is probably root rot. The water is has a lot of movement and aeration so that should help guard...

I'm wondering if adding some Superthrive would be a good idea. Im concerned I may have gotten some root rot bacteria and I think in my application adding beneficial bacteria may be my best bet. I'm relatively positive that Superthrive won't hurt anything. Superthrive - The Original Vitamin Solution

The plants are seeming to maintain their look now. The leaves that were yellow are possibly curling more but I don't see more yellow...right now it just seems to be holding where it is. I'm hoping that they're just building root structure and that's why they're not visibly improving lol. A guy...

With the 20 gallon tank your water volume makes you more susceptible to nutrient spikes like ammonia from the fish poo or even over saturation of nitrates. Do you check the water parameters? It seems that the 14 day tabs worked well for me so I feel confident that they will yield good results...

I'm using comet goldfish. I added three mickey mouse plates and three otocinclus catfish the other day. I left the pump on all night last night and saw marked improvement in leaf coloration. I'm going to get pics later today as long as they continue to improve. It seems they need to have limited...

When I was gone to Hawaii I put two Tetra brand 14 day feeder tabs in the tank and the plant was growing excellently when I got back. I'm thinking about dropping those in there to maybe get it back on track.
