Was talking about HPS. He said he had HPS and had been using that. I start mine on 400W MH.

I use sun master maybe the hortilux are better. My MH last forever. The guy at the hydro shop said MH never needs to changed unless they break. Not sure how true that is as he does talk some shit.

I don’t see a drop in plant health or yield regardless of how old my bulbs are to be honest dude. When I buy a set of fresh bulbs my yield doesn’t increase and my plants look the same as they normally do. They don’t usually last longer than 10 months anyway lol

As matey said above 600 watt is strong for younger seeds so select the lowest wattage and work your way up slowly until there ready for it. Less is more

No worries mate. No mate just use them for veg as they have a better spectrum for veg then when you switch to flow switch to a dual spectrum. They grow better under MH when there younger there a bit gentler than HPS.you can pick a cheap MH bulb for like £20 mate

Just put the MH into the same hood as the hps and run it off the same ballast dude.

Not sure what you mean by fixtures mate. You just screw them in the same way you screw the HPS. The bulbs are similar price to HPS but they last longer for me. I don’t bother with expensive brands they do pretty much the same thing your just paying for the name.

No mate like 6-12 months like gorilla said but I usually just run them until they break and I have no problem. Hydro shops say you need to change every 6 months but I think they just say that to get more money out of you.

You should invest in a 600 MH for veg mate it works wonders.
