I've never tried, but then again I'm more of a gadget man than a grower.

This is only a rough estimate but I'm thinking you'll need about 400w for a space that size. Most of the strips I see are approx 15 w/metre so theoretically 26 metres might do the trick. But I kinda doubt its worthwhile.
