Heya Stuka - looks like you've got a lot going on there! I've never grown with or created clones that I ended up keeping, and I've never kept any mother plants yet with my grows - so I'm not much help there. I usually start flowering when the plant reaches about a foot and a half in height...

Hey jg - node spacing (I believe) has more to do with your lighting and the genetics of the strain you're working with. I haven't grown out Barney's Utopia, but it may just be in it's DNA to do that... All LST will do is encourage the plant to share it's resources more evenly with the other...

The first time I grew out the VK, I had 4 plants - the phenos were fairly close, and they doubled in size after about the 3rd week of flowering - but those were grown in soil, and only had preliminary LST applied to them... this one is in DWC/hydro-drip and went through some fairly extensive LST...

I wouldn't top it quite yet - the slight stress caused by the LST is enough for her to worry about at this point. Depending on how well the nodes space out, you may not even need to do any topping. I've done it accidentally on a few on mine and it always worked out one way or the other.

Yeah, the VK went through a cal/mag deficiency that I caught kinda late... when I corrected it, I think my pH went up and caused a few other micro-nutrient deficiencies which I think are now under control as well... but as a result, some of the leaves are permanently 'rusted' and some are...

I kept my LST tie-downs on it until week 5 of flower (just recently) and still have a few tie-downs on it for the major tops. I think that effected the over-all stretch, as well as the super-cropping I did through the first few weeks of flower. Over-all though, it probably had a 2x stretch...

It has a fairly sweet sort of berry smell - super sticky everywhere. The nugs are very dense and resinous.
