I’m in the same boat as you, look close to the same too. Learned a lot today. Didn’t realize trichomes on the leaves mature faster. I still have a couple weeks to go.

I’m even more confused about my own plants. I feel like I have way more amber trichomes, yet my bud hasn’t swelled and doesn’t look ready. I don’t want a couch lock high!! But your plants are beautiful.

Yeah I ordered a bag of Cannatonic and a bag of Harlequin seeds, and so far have only had luck with the first two seeds. So either I'm doing something wrong or the seeds aren't good. Either way, I bought a better seedling start up and I'm gonna try again.

I googled it and understand what you mean, mine definitely doesn't look ready! It's confusing cause looking at the trichomes on the leaves next to the bud, they're cloudy and amber, but looking at the overall plant it doesn't look ready. It really is a feel it as you go thing in the beginning...

Well that’s where I thought I was at, looking st the trichomes earlier (pictures are above), but at second glance it’s only 50/50 cloudy and amber in some places, not all bud locations

I guess it’s safe to say I can’t believe what I read on the internet :roll: If I would’ve followed the 8wk or 60/70 day grow from other articles, I’d have premature bud. I guess I also can’t be entirely sure that’s she’s Harlequin either! I’ve also got a Cannatonic flowering, two weeks behind...

Ahhhh, I see! Gorgeous. So can you explain the CBD/THC thing to me. I read that CBD begins to degrade the longer you go, but yet the THC gets higher. Where’s the middle ground for that? I don’t want to lose the CBD, that’s why I picked her strain.

The amber was when I looked at the trichomes, not the hairs lol It’s more prevalent in the last photo. But it wasn’t in all areas.

Oh yeah, I know that! I should’ve trimmed the underside that wasn’t getting light so nutrients wouldn’t be wasted, but it was too late.

Used my phone camera lense to look through the microscope! A good combination of cloudy and amber, though in some areas it’s more cloudy and less amber. Still some clear here and there.

Label said it was Harlequin. Been flowering since November 24, 2017. Currently around 58 days, already been flushing for about a week and a half or two. I was thinking of harvesting in a couple days, closer the the beginning of the 10 we mark. What do you think?
