Definitely the soil, it looks like they can't breath. You need perlite so the soil dries in 3 or 4 days. Do you have proper drainage, leaves curling under is a red flag for too wet too long. I wait to water when the pot becomes light, takes a little practice to get a feel for it. Good luck...

Schwag can be any type of low grade weed. You could have the best possible pheno type , but if you do a horrible job growing/curing it..... it will be schwag.
