There should be a Kelin Rating or K on them to describe the exact color of white.. For budding you need light that appears very yellow. The K would be between 2500 and 4000k. Anything above 4000k wouldn't produce very well.

Yea, I'd go with not taking the chance of stunting growth and use big pots to start. I think you could lst them with no issues. Autos have a different growth cycle than photos.. It seems to take a long time for them to get the growth spurt, but eventually they do..
