I get a straw cut it long enough to support the stem. I slice the the down the middle then slide the straw around the stem. Once I've done that I gentle push the straw into the soul so it stays upright. When the seedling grows the stem will get big enough to support itself like tone24 said

I plant more than I need. It's a waste but hate getting stuck with a couple of runts that end up being shit.

i hang mine to the top of the tent that gradually bring them down as they get used to it
