    Starlite LED / Flip Chip Opto - 640W - 1500+ PPFD 4 BY 4 COVERAGE @ 2 FEET FROM CANOPY

Hi Atulip, When we talk about grow lights, we don't use the term lumens. Lumens defines brightness via reception of the human eyes. However, that does not apply to specific wavelengths such as 450nm or 660nm which do not produce the standard green/yellow light that maximizes lumen reception. I...

    Starlite LED / Flip Chip Opto - 640W - 1500+ PPFD 4 BY 4 COVERAGE @ 2 FEET FROM CANOPY

Hi Corso, The 100W fixture uses a 90 degree lens that spreads the ppfd / output really wide. At 1 feet from canopy you will get a 3ft by 3ft coverage. Anything further than 3ft is not recommended. The 100W would be great for a small tent light (1-2 plants in the tent).

    Starlite LED / Flip Chip Opto - 640W - 1500+ PPFD 4 BY 4 COVERAGE @ 2 FEET FROM CANOPY

Hey ROI, Giving everyone an update. Our Helios series was designed and manufactured for the general lighting market (warehouse, high bay) and not for grow lights. Grow lights require a good even coverage spread, and other significant factors such as form-factor of the fixture, temperature, etc...

If the heatpipe stops functioning, temperature will increase on the fixture and can lead to dangerous things happening.

You sent the e-mail to Ting... but it was forwarded to me. I have to check but you'd have to be careful on ordering the 600W power supplies with the right ampage... I'll confirm it for you tomorrow..

President Danny no longer works with us. But yes, we'd like to send some over to SC LABS to test potency and chemical make up. Leftovers would be delicious.:weed:

Another thing to mention is we do not have heatpipes in our heatsinks. The durability of heatpipes after 3 years is questionable. We don't want that shit exploding in your face because inside that heatpipe lies high pressure liquified heat transfer materials.

    Why no red COB's?

We are able to measure ppfd readings at the COB level using our Dome Lab which measures a bunch of other readings, take a look at our Duet 2400 spec sheet. However, at the fixture level, which encompasses distance and other variables, we need a differentt system.

    Why no red COB's?

Our next line of COBs will produce UV and the current materials used to convert into red spectrum can't be paired with UV. So we're looking for new materials at the moment.
