I do make stronger ones but I had two jars of coconut oil from the same strain.. I built up a tolerance to that one strain over time, so getting an edible from a completely different strain/method really put me down. :) Sometimes it's good to change it up, but yes it's better to be self reliant :).

Tap water has stuff in it that buffers pH, so you need to use more pH up or pH down to change the waters pH. How big is your res and how much pH down are you using?

I use 5-14mL depending on how big the plant is.. R/O water, so devoid of nearly all cal/mag in the first place. But for the most part I'd use at least 8mL and really not a whole lot more than 12.
