Jiffy's work just fine. There may be better ways of cloning, but I'm not in a hurry and I've always had VERY good success using the Jiffy plugs, just keep them moist (NOT wet!) and warm.

Don't sweat it, it's perfectly safe. I even use my own CC --- no pre-paid bs. There are several very good seedbanks and breeders out there and they pretty much all are VERY discreet in how they send seeds, especially if they are going to the U.S.. Get ya some beans and get growin' dude!!!!

My tap water consistently has a Ph of 7.0-7.1. After I add the FF nutes (I use the full line-up and strictly follow their schedule) it will usually drop to around 5.6 to 6.0. I don't know how necessary it is in soil growing, but I always adjust with Ph-up crystals until I'm in the 6.5 to 6.7 range.

I always run them at full strength (usually 1/2 tsp per gallon) with excellent results. I pretty much follow their schedule for soil to the letter, except I also add a tsp of Cal-Mag to the mix.
