Actually a thing I was doing, and that a guy I know has herd of also, is that when your plants are nearly ready, last week or two, you give them a 20 or so hour day every third day or so, and this boosts yield significantly/

Here's the plants. Perpetual flower and veg. I used a 400w hps, and a 5X 9w red/blue, one 20w cool blue led and one 7w red/blue. You can see the rounding effect this has on the light. my Veg rig is 3x 20w cool blue led and one times 7w neg ion spot bulb.

I ended up using a configuration of a 400w HPS bulb and some red/blue led's to even it out. I have an 80w LED veg rig atm which is great, and I am running now BLUE DREAM mainly. I have some plants almost done. They have 4 weeks to go!... here's pictures.....

Probably won't need a cool-tube. I have one I don't use it, one 400w Hps seems pretty cool actually. In a 'normal' medium sized room it would barely heat if ambient is under room temp avg, Bro. Radiant should be pretty on the ideal 25+ Celsius, I find around ambient in tent is -5 that "ish"...

Is it like this... Power supply > Led driver > led chips? If I just use a 12v power supply like a computer can I user a lesser amperage than the overall leds use?

what got me about those cob led units i linked is the lens is 70 degrees, and the diagram notes 6000 lux at a meter, and 20,000 at 0.5m. I hope that were true really however as noted.... I might ask them for some details

I got a couple of 1.5L CO2 reactors in there also now, keeping the heat up too, the co2 really boosted growth immediately. Should have done it sooner, I used a quick recipe from the internet

Two things.... my advice First: There are many led spotlights, I am getting some, that are the same wattage but produce much more white light by comparison, combining this at least is best I reckon. Second: Matte white reflects better than Mylar or foil, and Plants like it better. These two...
