Unusual Leaf problem, should I be concerned?

Three weeks or so from outdoor harvest, Mr. Nice ( g13 x hashplant) Noticed a few leaves with unusual colorations, am concerned it might be some kind of mold? Or maybe just end of life symptoms ( Sucking nutes from leaves?) I'm concerned about that white colored band between the live leaf and...

    topping to get bushes

Read that thread on 'main lineing' and I love it. I just happened to have some sprouts ( Wonder Woman ) that I can try it out on. I topped and trimmed them right after reading up on the way its done. Just to show what bending over a way to tall plant can do , I trotted out my camera to the...

BEST place to order seeds online? I'm in Nor Cal..

I order all mine from Herbies with good shipping, stealth, and freebies as well. As far as genetics goes I cant tell you which breeder is best as I've only used a few. Nirvana is ok, but I consider them the K-Mart of breeders. Good prices decent strains. I grew their white widow and Power Plant...

HELP! i may have just jacked my whole harvest

What you are seeing is the surface of the buds being dry and freaking out over the fact that you think the whole bud is as dry as the surface. You still have moisture in the interior of the bud that is gradually migrating to the outer layer, hense the moistness of the bud after a few days in the...

reveging and outdoor plant? Any ideas?

I think I read 'somewhere' about overwintering a plant in the ground. I'm not sure of the validity of this but the idea was that after you harvest your plant, leaving a small amount of bud and growth on the bottom of the plant, and using straw bunched up around the plant to protect against...

    topping to get bushes

Supercropping is a way of adding strength to the branches by deliberately bruising the plant, forcing it to repair the damage and thusly creating a stronger bush. Do a search on this subject. I also trim the smaller lower branches and inner branches to create a better air flow in the plant and...

    topping to get bushes

If growing outside then you definanately want to top, trim, and supercrop. I know that many will say don't do it, but just try to check your colas for mold or bugs on a twelve foot plant without having to buy an orchartd ladder :). I know because I now have 2 haze plants that are above 12 foot...

    pressing hash? Why?

I just could not see any real advantage to pressing it myself. I just dry my hash out on coffee filters and store it in the freezer in plastic vials and canisters. Looks like small 'rocks and sand' and Smokes just fine without pressing. So I guess the answere is that there is no real advantage?

NorCal outdoor 2012 coastal style , white Russian, kush, skunk, hash, blue cheese+more

I had one plant do this, turned out to be termites munching on the roots! Luckily it was just a small plant that was planted in July that I didn't have much real hope for anyway., I use a lot of diatamatious earth mixed into my soil which stops most ground dwellers. Not sure what else it could be.

    pressing hash? Why?

Just a quick question. Why press the hash from bubble extraction? I've always just stored it in small plastic ( like film canisters ) containers and put it in the freezer after drying it. Is there some kind of advantage to pressing that I am not seeing?????

Can anyone help me here ready to tear dem down

Youv'e got black pots sitting on a concrete surface, I will bet that those roots are baking big time. Can you raise them up off of the concrete? Wood blocks or some such. Cooler weather is on the way so my guess is they will recover if you can keep those root temps down.

reveging and outdoor plant? Any ideas?

Thanks for the input. I figure it would work if I can dig it out without doing too much damage to the roots. As I said, they are outdoors in a planter box. The soil isn't to deep, maybe 16 inches, but I'm sure the roots are spread out pretty good. The plants are in a 20 ft. x 3 ft. planter, 3...
