how do you know which traits that you want from each plant will carry over to batch of seeds? or said another way, how do you know which traits from each strain are dominant or recessive?

Hazey, again great info. I had to read it several times to make sense of it all. I'm def newbie seed grower. I mostly understand the deal. So at f2 your really not sure what the beans/seeds will be correct? could be 25% this, 50% that or 25% the other. Not knowing exactly which traits are...

This f2 gen. we'll see if i get any "freaks" yet. Did a few odd ball AKR's but all BR's been exactly same so far (with same growing conditions). Thanks for useful info though.

Those BR's grow faster than anything i've ever seen. Plus the stems and stalks are super strong....looking good now they'll really start to take off!!! woot woot...

And the race is on...lol. I really don't know about the pollen. I didn't have any luck last time storing it.. I've read though you need to keep in fridge?? and only good for few months. If you got any insight on how to properly store and keep pollen let me (us) know.

Update; WEEK 8 1/2 Never been so excited to see balls before!!...Well at least she balls anyway. One day nada, three days later bam balls all over selected Berry Ryder branch. Moved both BR and AKR into iso tent by themselves... Let it start raining pollen on my seed mamas.. For you HighLowGrow...

I hear ya man...I'm guessing that APP means Appalachia Hills n Hollers...I work in the woods everyday and know it's not the greatest...mold, pollen, spores, etc... Guess i could suck it up and go spend some cold hard ca$h on some killer hooch!?but live way out in the hills..not always...
