If you are in flowering I would top dress and make a fast acting tea out of comfrey. Totally natural, grows like a weed. And it will supply some K while it's at it.

Can I ask where you found the information about the CEC of coco coir, Hyroot? I can't seem to find evidence it has a high CEC, and from what I have found it seems peat is actually higher?

I believe it uptakes heavy metals the easiest. I read somewhere that we could grow cannabis in radioactive areas to help get heavy metals out of the ground. I can't find the article but i'll post it when I do.

Hey Hy, I was reading through your thread again and I am stumped on your nutrient tea on the first page. Why do you call it a nutrient tea? I did notice you did not add any bacterial food, is that why? What is the difference between Compost and Nutrient tea? Thanks!

I think I am going to throw as much EWC as I have left in the mix as long with rabbit poo for more organic matter and available nutrients so it doesn't have to cook. This is only a test for tomatoes anyways :)

Hey guys, I am really low on EWC and have a ton of rabbit poo. I lucked out and found a ton of poo for cheap, really clean, no hay in two bags! I couldn't believe it. Could I substitute the poo for the EWC? Why does it have to be EWC? I have always wondered that. Thanks!

I run mine at 8" over one sqft. Each plant for me covers one sqft so each COB covers one plant. I keep it MAX 8" by the way and I am at 1600mA

Hey, I made my hempy buckets the same as most peoples. 2 inches from the bottom and a big drain hole with a screen. I decided to take it a step further by adding pvs pipe that would drain into a drain pan. Now here is the weird part! My first buckets worked amazing and still do work amazing...
