    Mohican's 2014 Season

Hope the City doesn't see that. They will be wanting their permit $. I am so glad they laid off most of our inspectors but I still have to submit my greenhouse plans to the City. I love redwood. GT

    Mohican's 2014 Season

Had to laugh about the wife comment Mo. My wife found some of my hash one time in the 80s and threw it out because she thought it was some dried dog food. That hurt. Picture me digging in the trash for about an hour. Precious! GT

Liking the rain today. I will have to start a thread on the 2014 grow. Your Scotts and Jesus look great Mo. I was surprised it has been so warm (50+) at night for this past week. Time to select the new seed crop. GT

    Mohican's 2014 Season

Mo surprised you dont have a compost pile with worms. I thought you grew the Manjule in your compost pile? After I make some of my modified super soil I will give you some if you want to try it out. Worked excellent! Also bring a bag and you can have worm castings too. GT

    New Greenhouse Idea

I don't know what part of CA you are in SoCa, but 105 degrees is hot in the summer for a greenhouse. I have a 20 x 30 and it gets hot in there and I live in OC a few miles from the beach. That is one big greenhouse and just so you know, I had to get a permit to build mine. Depending on your fan...

Mohican's 2013 Season with Compost, SS, and EWC

Mo the Mulanje is looking awesome. I had a Cindy 99 cross one year that looked similar and I called it "Sideshow Bob" because of the droopy branches. I would harvest that beast before mold sets in. I have the heater on in the greenhouse these cold nights to elevate the temps a little. Still no...

Mohican's 2013 Season with Compost, SS, and EWC

I have some buds finishing in the greenhouse. No PM or bud rot. If they were outside they would be rotten to the core by now. It is as wheels said: no dew and lots of air movement with the two fans. Once I get my gas hooked up I will have heat too. My friend's son was a bad boy so I will have...

Mohican's 2013 Season with Compost, SS, and EWC

I agree Mo. You are doing so well and now you have the greenhouse all set up. I know what you mean about the pillars. I hate those bastards. Its when they are so small you cant see them. I try to spray with spinosad often, but I find some when I am trimming. Getting cold outside at night now...

Mohican's 2013 Season with Compost, SS, and EWC

Once you get that grass out of there and the screen up and the first beds tilled, each successive year is easy. I tried that with raised beds but it was a pain for me to till them with new amendments and soil so I went back to the 20 gal pots. How are your plants dealing with the heavy dew and...
