Phenotype hunting - vegging vs flowering

This was a story of one hundred feminized seeds by the way.

Co2 extraction - from raw material to concentration

So if you would have 1 ton of fan leaves, then you should be somehow able to extract 10-30 kilograms of pure THC out of it. But probably there will be other chemicals present in the concentration too which came in the result of an exctraction out of those fan leaves. Depends which type of...

Co2 extraction - from raw material to concentration

But to my understanding there is 1-3% THC in fan leaves.

Phenotype hunting - vegging vs flowering

As usually, asking before researching and shamefully still 0 books that my eyes have seen. This is a story of 100 plants that have been planted from 100 different seeds of the same strain. They are 3 weeks old and they all look different. Well, most of them do. Some are big, some are little...

Co2 extraction - from raw material to concentration

I'm wondering if there would be a difference in the end product (concentration) if we compare raw material from fan leaves to buds? Making concentration from buds would certainly yield me more THC than making concentration from fan leaves, but will there be a difference in quality is my...

Signs of overripening - can I turn off lights?

What if the trimming takes more time than planned? They're showing signs of overripening. Can I turn off lights and let them be in darkness and rooted for another 4 days or so?

    The ultimate drying chart.

As I understand there are 3 main factors which should be in perfect balance for the perfect drying: 1) temperature 2) relative humidity 3) air movement Would be awesome if there is some kind of chart for it that focuses on first two. A few examples: 1) fast dry (3-5 days) RH range for...

    A drying poem.

Ok, VPD charts are out of game. This is only for growing. But what about dew points?

    Understanding VPD chart.

Exactly what I was thinking about. I can see the chart and the "golden zone" at which temp and rh would be best for the plant, but how can it be applied when gassing with 1100ppm of CO2? Who made the chart and to what extent can we rely on it?

    Understanding VPD chart.

I made a new thread as I have gotten so many PM's lately by so many forum members who want to see more threads from me. I am now going to figure out what is a VPD chart and how can it be applied and where. If you have something helpful and interesting to say, please talk. I am probably going...

Can there be too much heat when drying?

At what point does temperature rise over critical level while RH is high enough so that it doesn't dry too quickly? I'm just interested to know what kind of heat damage could there be done to lower the quality of the end product except too quick drying.

    A drying poem.

This is hopefully in more understandable language for you, americans. I don't want mold. I want slow dry. Can there be too much heat, and why? Should I be looking at VPD charts, Should I be looking at dew points? Is there a chart? Scientific. Please give.

VPD chart related to drying and mold

60-65% humidity, but what temp are you talking about? 60-65% at 65F isn't the same as 60-65% at 75F. Completely different conditions.

Fast drying + curing VS slow drying and no curing

What are you yacking about? All my last grows I've ended up with the dry mass of 20-22% of the wet one. If I have weighted wet mass, it's not a rocket science to calculate what will be the dry mass in the end. You are simply hijacking my threads. Thank you for those who are friendly and...

Stop the lady talk. I'm all about growing. Scroll up for the questions and let the discussion flow.

VPD chart related to drying and mold

Can VPD chart be applied to avoid mold at the stage of drying? Which numbers should I be looking at to be on the safe side? Additional question: I want to know how does increased CO2 levels affect VPD chart numbers, because 1000ppm goes into my drying room too.

Drying without a dehumidifier - increasing temp?

Should I be looking at the VPD chart to avoid mold?

Fast drying + curing VS slow drying and no curing

I'm getting over 1.6 grams per watt this time. Would be nice to get it up to 2 grams per watt and I don't know whacha talking about buddy.
